STONE RIDGE EVENTING & COMBINED DRIVING

Stone Ridge Eventing & Combined Driving is a small, privately owned barn located east of Springfield, MO that provides educational, schooling and competitive opportunities for the eventing and combined driving enthusiast. Our facility does not offer boarding or provide lesson horses.

Our facility focuses on the disciplines which comprise the sport of eventing & combined driving; dressage, cross-country jumping, marathon, show jumping and cones.

Stone Ridge hosts dressage, jumping and combined driving clinicians regularly. Claudia Coley, USDF Gold Medalist, is available for weekly dressage instruction. Jenny Garner, ADS Preliminary Champion and current Intermediate competitor is available twice monthly for driving instruction for recreational, Pleasure and Combined Driving drivers and navigators.

Stone Ridge is also excited to host Carrie Ostrowski again in 2024 and beyond for regular clinics. Carrie represented the United States at the World Single Horse Driving Championships in France in 2022 and was named as an alternate for the 2020 Championships. Carrie offers over 20 years of driving experience including junior and single horse divisions at the prestigious Villa Louis Carriage Show.

We offer a lime sand dressage arena, full show jumping course and cross country courses for schooling in addition to hosting schooling shows for eventing and dressage. We are pleased to offer a full schooling cones course and 40m x 80m limesand dressage arena as well as numerous acres for recreational driving. We currently offer a small variety of marathon obstacles and are looking to expand our options.

Combined Driving

Combined driving is designed to test a driver's ability & the horse(s)' obedience, speed and athleticism, in three demanding phases with a carriage in tow: Driven Dressage, Marathon & Cones. The sport is modeled after the mounted equestrian discipline of eventing.
